Join our library's reading team and participate in the Spring Read-a-Thon!

On April 9, beginning at 12:00 noon Mineola Memorial Library will be entering a 24 hour reading event.  For 24 hours, we read books, post in our blogs about our reading, and visit other readers’ blogs. We also participate in mini-challenges throughout the day ... and night!  There will be hourly posts and chances to win prizes!  You can come by the library and read for a designated time, or if you are a hard-core reader feel free to stay for the entire 24 hours.  If you are a night reader, make yourself comfortable and come in your robe.  We have pillows and will keep the popper popping corn all night.  Check Chessie Reads often for daily news and suggested high-interest (keep you awake) books.
